Infusing IAM | Clayton, NC Branding Photography Session

I remember being in the parking lot at church leaning out the van window as Dan and Laurel shared their idea about starting a tea business! I just kept thinking “YES!” it fit them so perfectly. So I was thrilled to have the opportunity to take photos for them just a few months later.

In planning out the details, I knew that Dan’s tea business was like no other. I know the mission and purpose in his heart for the future plans of the business as well. Dan’s not the typical guy you would think has loose leaf tea in his thermos, but he does! Through their branding photos I wanted to make sure to show what is unique about their tea and their dream — I truly believe that Dan is changing the persception of who is a looseleaf tea drinker!

The goal in the session was to capture quality images of the tea itself for future use on their website and help customers who aren’t local navigate their options, in addition to showing the kind, quirky, and intentional family behind the brand. I also wanted to show how tea is a part of their busy lifestyle - two working parents, kids in school and activities - and how tea powers their lifestyle!

Bonus for me - My oldest daughter and I love tea so we got to make and sample several different flavors in the process! My absolute favorites are the Jasmine Pearls and Pilot Mountain Sunrise peach tea!

If you have a small business and want your photos to clearly and authentically communicate your product and the dream you are building - I’d love to work with you!
